NATURE'S OWN ABODE - PARAMBIKULAM TIGER RESERVE (Kerala)
One of the most protected reserve's in the Western Ghats this is one of the most famous wildlife reserve's in Kerala. One can easily spot Tigers, Lion Tailed Macaques, Leopard, Sloth Bear & the Gaur. Also this reserve boasts of the Oldest Teak Tree.
PRIDE OF KERALA - THE PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (Kerala)
Famous for its big cats & dhole's this wildlife sanctuary is also an elephant haven as one gets to watch the elephants very closely . It is also known as Thekkady and has the controversial Mulla periyar dam. Boat cruises along the very scenic periyar lake gives you a good chance of spotting wildlife.
THE MAGNIFICIENT ELEPHANTS & BISON'S AT THE WAYANAD WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (Kerala)
Famous for its elephants, big cats including butterflies and dragon flies it forms a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The second largest sanctuary in Kerala, it is also a very famous Tiger Corridor along with Nagarhole & Bandipur in Karnataka and Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu.
BIRDERS HAVEN IN THE KERALA BACKWATERS - THE KUMARAKOM BIRD SANCTUARY (Kerala)

Part of the Nilgiri Biosphere reserve it forms a part of the famous southern Tiger Corridor. It is a very important wildlife habitat and boasts of tigers, sloth bears, elephants & gaur. This one is best known for the herds of wild elephants.
