   SRI LANKA'S MOST POPULAR - UDAWALAWE NATIONAL PARK & BIRD SANCTUARY  
 
Famous for its large herds of elephant's this park is filled with magnificient flora & fauna, other animals to be found are spotted & barking deer, wild boar, jackal & ruddy & striped necked mongoose , if lucky one can spot the leopard, jungle & fishing cats.
BEST PLACE FOR THE MAJESTIC LEOPARD SIGHTING - THE YALA NATIONAL PARK 
 
One of the best places in the world to see Leopards also being the second largest National Park in Sri Lanka. Among other animals sighted here are elephants, sloth bears, deers & over 150 species of exotic birds making this a Birders haven as well. Along the line of coast found are the beautiful marine turtles.
 
 
WORLD HERITAGE SITE  - THE SINHARAJA RAINFOREST RESERVE 
 
Known as the best rainforest in Sri Lanka, this reserve is rich in natural beauty, misty waterfalls and the bird and butterfly population. Leopards are rarely sighted here also found are pythons and other reptiles. The plants & flowers recorded here simply exotic!

 

 

         UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE - HORTON PLAINS NATIONAL PARK 
 
This park is extremely famous with the Birdwatchers...also sighted here occasionally are the leopards, the park has lovely tracks for the visitors to walk through and explore the natural beauty of the surroundings as it has some excellent hikes!

 

 

ONE & ONLY HABITAT OF THE LARGEST LEOPARD SPECIES - THE WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK 

 

This park is famous for its Sri Lankan Leopard sightings which is the largest species of leopards found... amongst other animals are the Sloth Bears,Deers, Elephants and a wide variety of Birds.
